About The Role

We're seeking a driven Sales & Marketing Manager to join our leadership team and spearhead the evolution of how we connect with Belfast's student and young professional demographic while driving revenue through customer experiences and table bookings.

This isn't just a content creation role - it's a strategic position requiring someone who understands how viral culture translates into venue marketing, how trends become campaigns, and how social platforms drive real-world attendance and bookings.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

This role spans strategic marketing and revenue-driving sales. From viral TikTok campaigns to VIP table bookings, you'll own the initiatives that build our brand and grow our business.

Social Strategy
& Viral Content

Lead our social media presence, transforming trends into immediate, engaging communication that resonates with our core demographic and drives attendance.

VIP Sales & Table Bookings

Drive revenue through VIP package sales, table bookings, and premium experiences. Build relationships with corporate clients, student groups, and regular VIP customers, maximising occupancy and spend.

Brand Development

Strengthen Thompsons' position as Belfast's premier music venue while developing and promoting our in-house club brands across all touchpoints.

Campaign Execution

Flip cultural moments and trends into rapid content strategies that generate engagment and bookings.

Drinks &
Promotions

Create compelling promotional content that drives sales and elevates our drinks offerings. Develop packages and offers that convert social engagement into revenue.

Influencer
Relations

Identify, engage, and manage relationships with relevant influencers and content creators to amplify reach and drive ticket sales.

Performance Analysis

Review campaign effectiveness, assess engagement metrics, track sales performance, and refine strategies based on data and insights.

customer Management

Build and maintain relationships with   regular & B2B customers. Manage post-event follow-up, gather feedback, and develop loyalty strategies to drive repeat bookings.

The Ideal Candidate

who we’re
looking for

You'll bring energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for Belfast's nightflife scene. Have an ability to spot upcoing trends  and integrate them with our marketing and communications strategies.

  • Proven experience in events-based marketing and sales, you understand nightlife, live entertainment, what motivates people to attend, and how to convert interest into bookings.

  • Native fluency in social platforms, internet culture, and trend cycles - you don't just consume content, you understand why it works and how it drives revenue.

  • Comfortable with sales targets and revenue goals - you see marketing and sales as complementary, not separate, roles.

  • Portfolio demonstrating social-first marketing content that generated results and ideally experience driving bookings or sales through social channels

  • Strategic mindset with tactical execution skills - you can develop multi-week campaigns, execute same-day  content, and close  bookings.
