Thompsons take on the penultimate month of 2008 with a selection of acts and events to soundtrack the city seven nights a week.

Monday’s BLUE MONDAY goes from strength to strength with djs Jay Kay and Midge laying down an eclectic selection of killer floorfillers. Tuesday’s DUST rocks out an Indie/Electro soundtrack with Kenny Mathieson and guests. Wednesday’s FUNKARAMA witnesses DJ Hix teaming up with a selection of the UK’s hottest turntablists. Thursday’s SWITCH has a transatlantic flavour with Philadelphia’s DJ Cash Money (06/11), a release party for Florida’s T-Pain’s ‘Thr33 Rings’ album (13/11) plus Dublin’s Frank Jez (20/11) and London’s Dan Greenpeace (27/11). Friday’s PROPAGANDA hosts this year’s regional final of the Movida Corona DJ final (07/11), the first in a series of dates from Space resident Jason Bye (14/11), the return of Edinburgh’s DJ Huggy (21/11) and a six hour set from Steve Boyd (28/11). Saturday’s SESSIONS focus on a number of homegrown events in the shape of Stereo & Discopolis. Hed Kandi make their monthly visit (15/11) and Dubai’s Blend round up the month (29/11). Sunday’s MUSIK extends the weekend with Jay Kay and Gleave spinning ‘back in the day’ classics alongside contemporary re-edits.. Enjoy!!
