Thompsons launch MISFIT on the first Friday of September with Dublin DJ & producer Arveene spinning an exclusive set of today’s hottest underground sounds alongside the Misfit DJs.

MISFIT is set to feature a host of acts and artists covering the full spectrum of underground dance music each and every Friday. From Indie Disco to Dubstep, Techno to Electro, Tech House to Breaks all bases are covered.

Misfit’s opening night guest Arveene has come a long way since graduating from the Red Bull DJ Academy with flying colours in 2000. Arveene has become Irelands’ leading light on the European Electro scene with high profile gigs supporting Daft Punk, The Prodigy and Groove Armada running in tandem with a string of club dates throughout Europe, cementing a reputation as a formidable floor controller. Arveene’s studio output alongside production partner Misk have been snapped up by UK’s ‘Gung Ho’ France’s ‘Ed Banger’ Label, Australia’s ‘Bang Gang’ record labels. Whilst remix work on tracks with Felix Da Housecat , Mr Oizo, Zombie Nation and The Prodigy have been firing up floors across the globe.
