Bassline heavy hitter ‘Lee Mortimer’ touches down at Thompsons this Friday to spin an exclusive dj set at the club’s Friday event ‘Heavy Mental’.

Currently riding high on his studio collaborations with Laidback Luke & Foamo, Lee Mortimer has become one of the hottest names on the Electro scene, spinning his Fidget Funk, Bass Heavy Beats and Dirty House grooves across the globe.

As well as his sterling efforts on the wheels of steel he has also made a name for himself as a producer par excellence with a series of fantastic releases on his own label, ‘Wearhouse Music’. He has also had tracks signed to Fool’s Gold, Dubsided, CR2 and Made to Play and remixed Franz Ferdinand, The Futureheads and Bombay Bicycle Club to name but a few. He has also re-jigged tunes by Foamo, DJ Zinc, Dave Spoon & Pete Tong to spine tingling effect. Many of these mixes have also appeared on compilations by Claude Von Stroke, Plump DJ’s and Kissy Sell Out.
